WATC's long running series Friends & Neighbors celebrates its 500th episode with a special "road trip" episode in July featuring hosts Sherry Tatum, Donna Ritchie and Kelly Ingram. The special will chronicle the ladies as they embark on a trip to take part in a ministry outreach. Keep checking the WATC website for information on this special episode and on the new blog for Friends & Neighbors that will officially launch in August. |

WATC TO PRESENT AFTERNOON MOVIES THIS SUMMER |

Premiering Tuesday, July 6, WATC will feature family and faith-based movies every weekday afternoon this summer. Upcoming movies include "The Cross and the Switchblade," "Heidi," "Little Princess," "Our Town," "A Farewell to Arms," "Bachelor's Daughter," and "Gentle Ben." And if you are a fan of the classic television series that air weekday afternoons on WATC, you can look forward to a new lineup of classic series coming in September. WATC RECEIVES FIRST EMMY AWARD |
|
Congratulations to David L. Cook and Zach Roberts with New South Crossings for being honored with an EMMY Award during the 36th Annual Southeast Regional EMMY Awards held on June 26 in Atlanta. The award ceremony was presented by the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
David and Zach were recognized in the category of Musical Composition/Arrangement for the theme music for New South Crossings. This is the first EMMY Award for WATC and we are very excited to be a part of this great honor. |
